The Nordic Council of Ministers’ Office in Latvia is currently seeking candidates for two positions – Senior Advisor and Project Advisor – in the field of energy, sustainability and resilience.
The Senior Advisor is a strategic expert role responsible for strengthening Nordic–Latvian cooperation by leading projects in areas such as renewable energy and decarbonisation, circular economy and green growth, resilience of cities, industries and infrastructure, as well as innovation and entrepreneurship. The Senior Advisor provides strategic direction and leadership – setting goals, making final project decisions, leading major initiatives, managing high-level networks, advising institutions and mentoring.
The Project Advisor, working under the supervision of the Senior Advisor, is responsible for coordinating internal and external projects, monitoring relevant policy fields and regional developments, organising conferences, events and outreach activities and facilitating the exchange of knowledge, experience and best practices as part of Nordic–Latvian cooperation.
Both positions are offered as three-year project-based contracts with the possibility of extension.
